Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship in probability at the University Paris Diderot, in the Laboratoire de Probabilites et Modeles Aleatoires.
The position is for two years, with a salary of approximatively 30000-35000 euros per year, depending on the experience. Considerable financial support to attend conferences and workshops will be granted.
The expected starting date is september 2016, but a different date may be arranged.
The fellowship is funded by the European Research Council grant MALIG of Cristina Toninelli. The aim of the project is to develop a mathematical approach to the liquid glass transition and related phenomena.
Main research areas include kinetically constrained models and other interacting particle systems, bootstrap percolation and glassy dynamics.
